The speed of thought Turn the dark back on Listen for what comes out of the stillness I’m in a race against tears Is that any reason to hide the light? Miles of night Move through black space It’s the only right way left Invite a trance No shadows dance Listen for what speaks from the stillness In a race against tears I wonder why I bother to wonder why?
