18 FEBRUARY 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – “Incantation,” the second single from 5th PROJEKT’s live off-the-floor EP, “Live In London” arrives today in advance of the album’s release on May 13th, 2026 via their own independent label, Organik Rekords.
Following the ceremonial initiation of their slow-burn debut single, “Oblivion (Live),” the psychedelic art-rock band from Toronto now steps fully into ritual action. “Incantation” marks the moment in their sonic rite where intention is spoken aloud while repetition and rhythm begin to give form to the unseen.
Originally from their 2013 EP, “Gamma-Wave Rhythm,” “Incantation” pulses with a dreamlike drive, blurring the edges of psychedelic rock and shoegaze. Sködt McNalty’s spellbinding use of ambient fretboard tapping creates a dreamy, experimental post-rock movement calling forth hidden stories and secrets. David Pake (drums) and Peter Broadley (bass) cross the threshold with focused power, anchoring the spell. Tara Rice’s ethereal vocals play with tension and release, rising to a delicate and luminous chorus. A moment of beauty and breath amid the song’s mesmerizing momentum.
“Incantation” is the second of five songs recorded live off-the-floor at The Sugar Shack in London for the Incorrect Thoughts live band series. “Incantation” blurs the line between song and ceremony, expanding the atmosphere of the upcoming raw and immersive EP, “Live In London”.
