13 MAY 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Invoking ritual, 5th PROJEKT presents Live In London, their first live-off-the-floor release. Unfolding like mythic scenes in motion, the five-song EP traces an atmospheric arc across the band’s sonic landscape, acting as a ceremonial initiation into their immersive sound. Live In London will be released May 13, 2026 on the band’s own Organik Rekords.

“The moon was in Sagittarius. It was Libra season. The mood was aspiring and adventurous. There was a desire for a diverse and expansive experience.” 

Dressed in black, gathered at The Sugar Shack in London, Ontario, the psychedelic art-rock band composed of Tara Rice (vocals & guitar), David Pake (drums), Sködt McNalty (guitar), and Peter Broadley (bass) conjured cinematic scenes within single takes. The session exposes a raw, stripped-down arrangement that foregoes post-production and polish in favour of presence and the powerful, cohesive wall of sound their live shows are known for. The event was captured by Incorrect Thoughts for their live band series. 

Live In London has been released through a series of staggered singles that began in January 2026, each song a spell gradually revealing the greater framework of the collection. The set and setting is introduced through the reimagined moody, slow-burn opening of Oblivion (Live), which thins the veil between dark trip-hop and gothic rock. The dreamlike drive of Incantation (Live) marks the moment where intention, rhythm, and repetition begin to give form to the unseen. The Labyrinth (Live) descends into a frenzied, psychedelic spiral of shadow work, leading to the grungy and ethereal Shapeshifter (Live). Previously unreleased, this song conjures transformation, shoegazing into the feral feminine. Ending on a high note, the final offering of The Pace (Live) is one of integration, a kinetic krautrock-inspired adventure. Live in London will be released on all digital platforms as well as on vinyl.

Previous releases The Wolf (2023) and The Labyrinth (2022) received strong Canadian college radio support, with The Wolf climbing to the !earshot National Top 25, alongside press coverage, award nominations, and festival showcases.
